Apart from the classes of the Vocational School, which usually end around 3 p.m., there are many additional training programs on voluntary basis are available.

- Training lessons in practical audiology, otoplastic or soldering. Should you need extra training hours, you can take part in additional afternoon classes for a small extra fee. The training companies often support their apprentices with a financing of these extra hours.
- Instruction Course "measurement systems": Before the intermediate exam and the final examination, we offer free afternoon courses with instructions on how to operate the audiometer and scan systems so none of the apprentices need
to worry because they will have to work with a different scan system than the one they are used to work with in their respective companies.
- First Aid and CPO: The Academy also offers First Aid and CPO classes in the afternoon, which are paid for by the respective Berufsgenossenschaft (professional association).
- Sign language course: The school association of the National Vocational School offers afternoon classes in sign language on a regular basis.

- Remedial teaching: Should there be a need for extra classes in order to till gaps particularly in math, additional afternoon classes for the first and second vocational training course will be offered in concertation with the relevant teachers. The students of our master dass and the Applied Sciences course of study (all of them certified hearing-aid acousticians) otter private lessons - for an extra fee - for those students with serious problems following the classes.
